Landscape Survey
Enviros Ltd have undertaken  prelimiary zone of theoretical visibility mapping to predict the visual influence of the device to a radius of 15km around the device position and have undertaken much of the viewpoint  photography  with which to produce the photomontages.

Geophysical Survey
After consultation with local fishermen and fisheries bodies and the temporary removal of some potting gear, the Geophys team, from Osiris Ltd, mobilised the 14m work vessel 'Barinthus' on the 24th of January. The survey was completed on the 27th of January and found the survey area was mostly bare rock with a dusting of sediment cover. The data has now been passed to CMACS Ltd for further in depth Geophys analysis and to Wessex Archeology Ltd for in depth archeology analysis.

Benthic Survey
Initial benthic grabs were conducted by CMACS Ltd from the 27th through to the 30th, using data from the Geophysical survey, although there were only 14 sites for them to sample as there was very little sand in the area. These grab samples will be analysed and the results, in conjunction with discussions with CCW, will be used to design further sampling of the proposed development area.

Navigation Survey
Anatec Ltd have received authorisatuion from Milford Haven Port Authority to proceed with a Navigation Survey and began a 14 day study on the 26th of February. This study will track all vessels that pass through the survey area and the data will be used for all the required shipping safety analysis. A further study of summer vessel traffic levels will be conducted during the last two weeks of May.

Archaeology Survey
Wessex Archaeology have started by undertaking a desk based research into known archaeological records  from the area. They will also review the geophysical data to examine any anomolies found (wrecks, subsea contacts).
